Emergency Care

If you or someone with you may be having a medical emergency, call 911 or come directly to Arlington ER. Don’t try to drive yourself if you’re experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, or sudden weakness; an ambulance crew can begin treatment on the way.
Yes. We’re open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. There’s no time of day when our doors are closed.
No. Arlington ER is walk-in only. You can arrive any time, day or night, without scheduling ahead.
Yes. Every patient is evaluated by a board-certified emergency physician, supported by experienced emergency nurses.
Most patients are seen within minutes of arrival. Critical patients are taken back immediately.
Yes. Our physicians treat patients of all ages, including infants, toddlers, and teens.
As a freestanding emergency room, we stabilize and treat you, then coordinate a direct transfer to a partner hospital if you need inpatient admission or surgery.

Bring a photo ID and your insurance card if you have one. If you don’t have them on hand, come in anyway; we never delay care over paperwork.

Billing & Insurance

Yes. We accept most major private insurance plans and bill your insurer directly on your behalf.
Uninsured and self-pay patients are welcome. We offer a discounted self-pay fee schedule and can discuss payment options before or after treatment.

Because emergency conditions vary, we can’t quote a fixed price in advance, but our Patient Billing Advocates can walk you through expected costs once you’ve been evaluated.
Yes. We partner with Sunbit to offer flexible payment plans, so you can pay your bill over time instead of all at once.
Our Care Relief Program offers qualifying privately insured patients a partial or full reduction of their out-of-pocket responsibility, based on household income and the Federal Poverty Level. Visit our Financial Support page to learn more.
Yes. If you were injured in a car accident or other personal injury and are represented by an attorney, we can treat you under a Letter of Protection, with no payment due at the time of service.

General Information

No. We’re a full-service, freestanding emergency room equipped with on-site CT, X-ray, ultrasound, and lab testing for serious and life-threatening conditions, not just minor illness and injury.
Arlington ER offers on-site CT scans, digital X-ray, ultrasound, EKG, and a full laboratory, so most testing is completed during your visit.
Yes. Patients are treated in private rooms rather than shared bays or a waiting area.
Our physicians work in rotating shifts to keep the ER staffed 24/7, so we can’t guarantee a specific physician, but every patient receives the same standard of board-certified emergency care.
